There are so many aspects of energy limiting chronic illness that are hard to accept. We can resist adapting to a different way of living because we don’t want to let go of what we had. We can resist grieving what we’ve lost. We can resist having a bad day, needing to rest, not being able to think clearly. But any kind of resistance is a waste of precious energy. One major consequence of non-acceptance, is how we can push ourselves into a boom bust cycle.
In this course you’ll learn the difference between acceptance and resignation. You’ll learn how to claim back the energy you lose to resistance and find more peace with what is. You’ll discover the power of acceptance in helping you heal and make the most out of the life you have. Most of all you’ll learn how to accept. With new acceptance skills, life will be so much easier!
Live, online, weekly group coaching meetings offer individualised support and guidance.
The course consists of 4 lessons which each include:
- a short video (5-15 minutes)
- a summary of the topics covered in the video
- journaling suggestions to help you develop the skills
- a short wellbeing practice to make improving learning to accept, easy
The weekly zoom coaching group meetings take place on Wednesday’s at 4pm UK time (8am pacific; 11am eastern). The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month are for group coaching. The 2nd and 4th involve a more informal Q&A style.
